XmasTreeOur MVCC Christmas Party - Sunday December 23

Moonee Valley Cricket Club’s Christmas party is on from 12.30pm this Sunday, December 23 – with lots happening to interest both seniors and juniors.

We will have the canteen and bar running all afternoon and into the evening, with barbecue food, salads and pasta available throughout the day. We will also have a hallal barbecue.

 

The entry of $15 per adult and $10 per junior covers the food and participation.

 

Anyone who sold their full book of raffle tickets is entitled to one free entry.

 

Our Mighty Fighting Fourths are no longer playing at home on Sunday afternoon, and in their place we’ll stage a Twenty20 match between two Moonee Valley teams – the Moonee Valley Renegades v the Moonee Valley Stars – or some other form of cricket competition.

 

We’ll have the nets running all afternoon, with our junior and senior players able to test themselves against a bowling machine.

 

Juniors will also be able to receive some free coaching from some of our senior players and coaching personnel later in the afternoon.

 

Raffle tickets will still be available for purchase during the afternoon.

 

We have around 30 prizes, including a year’s membership at Windy Hill Fitness Centre valued at $935; a $500 cash prize; $250 cash prize; electrical goods; personal training sessions by fitness trainer and Seconds captain Stephen Ward.

 

We also have two family passes to the next Melbourne Renegades v Melbourne Stars Big Bash; Etihad tickets for the football season; and other prizes including canteen and bar vouchers.

 

The raffle will be drawn between 5.30 and 6pm.
