Sunny, Jesse high in the votes

Moonee Valley's Fourths captain Sunny Sharma and team strike bowler Jesse Felle both finished high in the voting in the competition awards.

The team's stellar season saw it play off in the Moreland Moonee Valley Cricket Association's C Mats Grand Final, and the efforts of Sunny and Jesse were recognised.

Fittingly, it was their big unbroken partnership in the semi final which saw us topple top-of-the-ladder Royal Park Reds and win through to the  Grand Final.

Sunny finished third in the comp batting averages for the Musgrove Trophy - C Non Turf - with 307 runs in the grade at an average of 51.17.

Jesse (right), finished second in the comp bowling average with 23 wickets at 12.96 - a shade behind the winner, who had an average of 11.42.

Sunny finished second in the Grade Championship with 10 votes - but one behind the winner. Jesse was third with nine votes.
