Five Valley boys in region rep teams

Five Moonee Valley players have been invited to train in regional representative squads over the September school holidays.

Tom Ward, Bede Gannon, Chris Stafford and John O’Brien from last year’s Under 16 team are in the North West Wizards Under 17 development squad.

Alex Schot-Guppy from our Under 14s has been invited to be part of the Under 14 Wizards trial squad.

Tom, Bede and Chris were part of our 2006/07 Under 16 Premiership team, while John was ruled ineligible for the Under 16 finals because school commitments severely limited his availability. However, he played in our Eighth Eleven senior finals campaign.
