Our next steps to training and playing

by

We can't advise a return to formal training until the Council gives us approval to use Ormond Park.

The earliest we expect this to happen is the start of next week. You can still train by yourselves in the nets if you can comply with the COVID-19 rules.

As soon as we can all train together we'll let you know. We may not get much notice so stay alert and ready!

Importantly, there will be strict sign-in rules and training will be in groups of a maximum of 11 plus a coach.

We will be able to have six of these groups arranged around Ormond Park at any one time and everyone will get a bat and bowl. More details will be provided once they are agreed and finalised with the Council.

Our Mercantile teams (Thirds and Fourths) are due to resume on November 14/15.

Our VTCA teams (Firsts and Seconds) are due to resume on November 21.

We have a staged return for our other teams, in the NWMCA.

Our NWMCA return dates are:

Saturday Two Day competitions. playing one-day games (our Sixths) 14 November.

Saturday One Day competitions (our Fifths) 21 November.

Sunday One Day competitions (our Sevenths and Eighths) 22 November.

Our juniors – (Under 10, 12, 14, 16) Friday 27 November.

Senior Womens T20. Sunday 29 November.

We’ll keep you posted with further developments.
