Our condolences to the Nolan family

Vale Dianne Nolan

 The club was saddened to hear of the recent passing (after a short illness) of Dianne Nolan.

Dianne, wife of life member Warwick and mother to Kimberly and Travis was a fixture around the club from the early 80s until the mid 90s. She was one of a number of wives and girlfriends who watched the club grow from eleven sweaty men standing around an esky after a game to the renovations of the old Bastick Pavilion to include a bar, female toilets and a crèche!

Dianne consistently reminded Warwick that she scored many more centuries than he ever did – a point readily conceded given she was the club’s First Eleven scorer for over a decade through some absolute MVCC glory days.

The club extends our condolences and best wishes to Warwick, Kimberly and Travis and their families.
