Our call for team captains

The Moonee Valley Cricket Club is now calling for applications for captains for the Seconds through to the Sevenths.

A couple of months ago we called for expressions of interest for positions, and got a couple of responses of intent.

Now that we're into the pre-season, we're keen to get the captaincy positions in all grades filled, to follow on from the reappointment we're already made for the Firsts (Jack Newman).

We are happy to consider applications for joint captaincy of some grades. People interested in any of the grades should contact Mark Gauci on 0457 778 335 or Charlie Walker on 0411 705 381.

As a reminder:

Our Seconds are two-day VTCA.

Our Thirds are one-day Mercantile, playing Saturday away games and Sunday home games.
Our Fourths are one-day Mercantile in the Sunday grade.
Our Fifths are Saturday one-day North West Metro in Girolami Shield, playing at Ormond Park matting.
Our Sixths have reverted to Saturday two-day North West Metro, playing at Ormond Park matting.
Our Sevenths are one-day Sunday grade in North West Metro. playing at Ormond Park matting.
