See you there!
Alex was one of a small group of RMIT University mates who we corralled having a kick of the footy in Ormond Park at the start of the 2014/15 season, and pressed into the whites.
He may have only played two games, but had a significant impact on our Club.
We were proud to open up a team for a wider group of Alex's mates for a tribute game in February 2015, and they played as a Moonee Valley team to honor his memory.
That team, led by Paddy Shelton, was the catalyst to what is now our Fifths, as the core group continued on and played as a group.
The tribute game was the first for Liam Shaw at Moonee Valley - now a committee member, co-captain and prolific run-scorer.
Paddy and Liam have indicated they will be travelling to Warracknabeal for the golf day.
Anyone else interested should get in touch.
