Our Christmas Cheer at the Club

The Moonee Valley Cricket Club Christmas party on Saturday, December 17 2011 was a fun affair. Held at the pavilion, an enthusiastic crowd celebrated the holiday shut-down - although the Eighths and our Under 16s still had matches on the next day.

Thanks to Tien Ha and her helpers Mary and Victoria for their sterling work decorating the rooms and organising the meal, Peter Fenaughty for cooking the roast, Danny Terzini for organising the big raffle and its 31 prizes, Stephen Tassos for keeping an eye on the finances, Peter Smith and Paty Taylor for running the bar and Simon Thornton for stocking the bar and running the raffle draw.

First prize of $500 was won by Kevin Gardiner, and second prize of $250 by Helen Cafari.
