We win in Barooga

Moonee Valley ventured to Barooga, on the Murray in Southern NSW, for a practice match on turf on Saturday, September 24, and came away with the chocolates.

Batting first on the Barooga No. 2 oval, Moonee Valley made a solid 6/135 off our 40 overs.

We had a strong Barooga side in trouble early, at 3/3, and when we got a team hat-trick with two wickets to Jordon McDonald and a wicket at the start of the next over from Chris Pollock, they slumped to 8/86 and were all out for 115 off the second-last ball of the innings.
