VIT for Victory - our newest team

The relationship between the Moonee Valley Cricket Club and the Victorian Institute of Technology got off to a flying start on November 22, when our newest team recorded a first-up victory.
The weather threatened after Moonee Valley/VIT made 4/241, and our opponents RMIT couldn't find a broom in their clubrooms - but a quick trip from Parkville to Ormond Park turned up two of them and we swept and dried the pitch enough to complete a solid win.
The players proudly wear the orange VIT logo on their shirts alongside the Moonee Valley badge, and they represent us with distinction.
VIT Academic Dean, Professor Arun Patil attended the first match and cheered on the team, and we are honored with his support and involvement.
