Valley players in the junior rep squads

Eight Moonee Valley players are currently trying out for junior representative teams.

An incredible five of our Under 14s are in contention to play representative cricket.

Charles Aitken, Charles Bibby and Anthony Cafari are still in contention after successive trimming of the squad invited to try out for Cricket Victoria's North West Wizards Under 14 team.

And the three are also in the squad being trialled by the North West Metropolitan Cricket Association for its Under 14 rep teams, along with Jack Newman and  Shan Amunugama.

Nick Webster has been invited to try out with the NWMCA's Under 16 rep team.

Jackson Baks-Marino and William Blair are in the Under 12 tryouts.

All the boys have promising futures both as representative cricketers and future Moonee Valley stars.

Charles Bibby, Jack Newman and Nick Webster have already pulled on the whites in senior Moonee Valley teams.
