Valley players get married

by

Congratulations Michelle and James Clarke. Two past Moonee Valley cricketers have got married within one day of each other.

Will and Miranda Ryall were married in Geelong on November 2, while James and Michelle Clarke were married at Broadmeadows a day later.

At right: Congratulations Michelle and James Clarke.

Congratulations from the Moonee Valley Cricket Club to both couples.

Will Ryall played his three games for the Valley around 2005 to 2008, but was regularly out of Australia across a number of years.

But whenever he was around he would take the call when we needed players to fill out a team, and take to the field with enthusiasm.

James made his senior debut in 2001/02 after being one of our foundation junior players and coming all the way through the Moonee Valley system.

Miranda and Will Ryall - congratulations! He has played 47 senior games and keeps threatening to come back and round off his 50 - and we'll take him any time.

James also paid back our club by coaching Under 10s after he finished his junior career in the Under 16s, and coached the up-and-coming juniors for probably five seasons.
