The Loh-down on why George isn't playing

Club stalwart George Loh has had a solid season, with 130 runs and 8 wickets, but hasn't pulled on the whites since January 31.

But he's had good reason to be absent - wife Cassie presented him with a third child on February 22, and George was otherwise occupied leading up to the birth.

Elizabeth Ada weighed in at 3.75kg and 51cm, and brothers Owen, 3, and Isaac, 2, are excited at the arrival of their sister.

George has now notched up 97 games for Moonee Valley - so he'll have to wait until next season to bring up his century.

We're happy to wait for George to come back and bring up his much-deserved milestone.
