Senior Teams Week 17 - February 9 & 10

2018/19 Week 17 - February 9/10


We've had a spring in our step at training the past couple of weeks, and we're looking sharp and professional.
We've also decided to revert to one of the old rules and requirements from years gone by: Players MUST wear a white shirt at training - or our black-and-white one-day tops. If we look well, we play well. So let's take it to that next level.

Also note that our poker night at the bowls club has been put back a week - to February 23.

There's plenty of cricket for this weekend. The Firsts are featuring in two games - at home on Saturday we're in the first day of a two-day game v Caroline Springs. And on the Sunday we're at East Coburg, playing a make-up game for the Round 7 washout.
And the Seconds are not playing this weekend. Due to ground availability issues at Caroline Springs, we start Round 12 the following weekend and play a Saturday/Sunday fixture.

1st Eleven: 
Victorian Turf Cricket Association Charles Clarke Shield Division 4.
Round 12. Two-day Saturday game February 9 & 16 v Caroline Springs. Match starts at 1pm. Players need to be at the ground 11.30am. Playing in our whites.

Away - Town Centre Recreation Reserve, The Parade, Caroline Springs. 
Team to be selected next week. 

3rd Eleven: 
Mercantile Cricket Association C North grade - one-day grade.
Round 17. One-day Saturday game February 9 v Parkville District. Match starts at 12.30pm. Players need to be at the ground 11.30am. GAME WASHED OUT - NO PLAY
