At left - Thirds captain Sunny Sharma brought up his 2000-run milestone last week.

Teams are to wear black armbands this weekend to honor past player Tien Polonidis, who passed away on October 27 after a long illness.
As a result of last week's wet weather, only the Thirds got on and acknowledged Tien's contribution to our club.
Don't forget next weekend - Saturday, November 27 is the official season launch at the Ormond Park clubrooms, in association with the MVCC Past & Present Players Association.
