Also:We're holding our MVCC Melbourne Cup Day Function at the Ormond Park bowling club rooms this year. Raffles, barefoot bowls, sweeps, lots of fun with your team-mates. $20 entry. Wonderful food; first beer free.

****Note: This Saturday is Cox Plate day at the Moonee Valley racecourse. Players need to be aware of traffic congestion - so allow yourself extra time if you're playing at home, and extra time if you're leaving from Ormond Park to travel to away games.
