Senior Grand Final at Ormond Park

Update: Greenvale 228 & 1/31 def Jacana 124 & 132 outright by the end of the first week.

Ormond Park is hosting the North B1 Grand Final in the Victorian Turf Cricket Association over the next two weekends - March 8 & 9 and 15 & 16.

The match is between Greenvale and Jacana, and Moonee Valley players, parents and supporters should come down and watch some of the action.

You will be able to see former Moonee Valley players Glen Courts and Adam Chapple in action for Greenvale. Even though they no longer play with Valleys, they have maintained their ties to our Club, and many Moonee Valley players will be supporting them.

Moonee Valley's curator, Ian "Spider" Beel has a metro-wide reputation for the quality of his pitches, and so turf clubs in the finals in our region were vying for a chance to play on one of his strips in the big match.
