Sweet victory over Merlynston leads to a Jolley good time

After dominating the competition for the last three seasons, the Valley boys finally broke through and rewarded skipper David Jolley with a hard earned premiership victory.

Young tyro, Glen Courts led the run chase but the result was in the balance until a thrilling eighth wicket stand between veteran Ian Denny and Steve Allan got us home.
