Practice matches - this Sunday

Congratulations to everyone who attended our first training session tonight, and for following the COVID-safe requirements to help protect us all and keep our season on track.

We need three teams for practice matches this weekend - our Thirds are playing an away practice match v Barnawartha on Sunday, while we're putting together two squads for a practice match at home at Ormond Park on the hard wicket - also for Sunday.

The match v Barnawartha is at Fawkner Park No. 2 oval in South Yarra.

The team selected by captains Sunny Sharma and Ian Denny is:
Sunny Sharma, Ian Denny, Sunil Bhandari, Matt Esmore, Stephen Esmore, Sagar Bhatia, Josh Norsetter, Dean Jukic, Michael Ozbun, Peter Golding and Maks Rahman. The game starts at 12.30pm.

We still need a few more players to round out the teams for the intraclub match at Ormond Park. Any player keen for a hit should contact Jack Newman on 0413 167 461

Players selected for the intra-club practice match at Ormond Park should wear their whites.

We need to ensure we've COVID-safe and follow all the requirements, including sanitizing, social distancing and masks when off the field.

The match (on the eastern oval) starts at 11.45am, and players need to be at the ground by 11.

White team: Channa DeSilva, Bede Gannon, Anthony Cafari, Alec McIntyre, Andreas Skiotis, Jacob, Dan Comande, Mitchell Britton, Manthan Nicholas, Jaykumar Patel, Felix Fischer.
