The Moonee Valley Cricket Club junior presentation night on April 7 was a fitting recognition of our stars of the future - and some who are already well on the way.
We fielded teams in the Under 14, Under 12 and Under 10 age groups in 2021/22, and are confident we'll be able to expand to Under 16s next season.
All of our junior players were recognised with trophies on the night - many of those trophies honoring past champions of our club.
At right: Zac Nilsson - recognised for the Under 14 batting award, Under 14 Best Player and Junior Club Champion.
We recognised our Under 14 team for winning their premiership, and our Under 12s for making the grand final.
And our Under 10s are on their first step of their cricketing journey, and have shown every sign of progressing through the age groups to senior cricket careers in the future.
Zac Nilsson, who played three games in our senior First Eleven this season, was crowned our Junior Club Champion.
Zac also won the Warwick Nolan Trophy batting award for the Under 14s and the Ray Storey Trophy as the Under 14s best player.
