Our Semi Final team - this Saturday

Moonee Valley's Winter Comp team is playing in the semi final this Saturday, so we want supporters out in force to cheer them on.

Skipper Michael Ozbun has done an excellent job this season, and we failed to get the points in just two games throughout the season.

Our August 9 game is at our winter home ground, Fairbairn Park No. 8 oval, off Woods St, Ascot Vale. No. 8 is the next oval downstream from the old bluestone pavilion at the Maribyrnong Rd end of the park.

Our team is: Anthony Cafari, Daniel Comande, Bede Gannon, Peter Golding, Kern Kapoor, Gaurav Malhotra, Jack Newman, Michael Ozbun (capt), Adam Patchell, Amandeep Singh, Ben Thomas. 12th man: Sam Carbone.

Moonee Valley finished top of the ladder, and we're playing Balmoral.

The match starts at midday, and players should be there by 11.30. If you're coming to watch, it's a good idea to bring a chair.
