Our Pre-Season training details

Moonee Valley Cricket Club has booked two courts at the Footscray Indoor Centre from 6 to 7pm for five Thursday sessions in August/September.

The dates are:

4th August
11th August
18th August
25th August
1st September

If the sessions are well attended, we have scope to expand to a third court. The cost for each session will be between $5 and $10, depending on numbers.

The address of Action Indoor Sports is 90 Gordon St, Footscray.

We expect to commence our outdoor sessions after September 4.

The Club is also in negotiations with the Lucknow Cricket Club for a Bairnsdale weekend, hopefully around September 24. We travelled to Lucknow two pre-seasons ago for two games - a turf game and a match on their synthetic wicket, and hope to be able to do it again.

We are also in discussions about practice games against Donnybrook on another September weekend. Donnybrook has two excellent ovals with synthetic pitches, and are always good hosts.
