Our MVP night 2014

Moonee Valley players were out in force over the Labor Day long weekend Sunday as we celebrated our Most Valuable Player vote count for each grade.

There was anticipation - and a lot of noise - as the votes were tallied for each round in each grade, and a cheer when each winner was announced.

We held the count at the Reunion Bar in Ascot Vale, where sponsor and some-time Moonee Valley player Matt Clare hosted us well into the night.

We were also able to celebrate the Sixths winning their way into a Grand Final, the Fifths finishing off the season with a top-of-the-ladder win to head into the finals with confidence.

We also offered commiserations to the Mighty Fighting Fourths for their semi final loss, and to the Thirds on their gallant weekend game, where we unfortunately fell short of a finals berth.
