Our Fourths get the job done at home

OUR FOURTHS GET THE JOB DONE AT HOME

They have got close plenty of times, but our Fourth Eleven - our Mercantile C Sunday side - finally broke through for their first win of the season on December 3.
They were scheduled to play away, but with pitches unavailable due to the weekend rain the team was transferred back to Ormond Park for a Twenty20 double header with the Thirds.

Plenty of hard work all morning on the pitch and outfield enabled our two games to proceed, and the Fourths were first up and recorded their win - passing Melbourne City's 5/133cc with one ball to spare - notching up 8/134. Congratulations guys - we're proud of you - many of you playing for Moonee Valley this season for the first time.
