Our commitment to safeguarding our children

The Moonee Valley Cricket Club Committee, at its meeting on December 13, 2021, adopted:

Moved Dom Rettino, Seconded Manu Poulose:
“That the Moonee Valley Cricket Club endorse and adopt: Australian Cricket’s Policy for Safeguarding Children and Young People, Australian Cricket’s ‘Looking After Our Kids’ Code of Behaviour for Affiliated Associations and Clubs, and Australian Cricket’s Commitment to Safeguarding Children and Young People, effective as at December 13, 2021.”

The Moonee Valley Cricket Club also appointed committee member Dominic Rettino as our Child Safety Officer. He is the first point of contact for members, families or supporters to refer any concerns of child abuse or any form of inappropriate behaviour.
