ON STAGE TO RECEIVE OUR FLAG Our women's team members were up on the stage to receive their Premiership flag at the NWMCA senior presentation night on April 22. Captain Tara Newman, players Audrey Brown, Kelsie Armstrong and Adele Walker and co-coach Sarah Gooden were in the spotlight as they received the pennant from the night's guest speaker, Cricket Victoria Head of Female Cricket and former Australian netball captain Sharelle McMahon. All went up to the stage as our back-to-back premierships were acknowledged. Kelsie took the microphone to speak on behalf of the team when quizzed by master of ceremonies Ian Coutts. The NWMCA has already indicated that we will be moved up a grade next season, but our players are ready for it and determined to give the threepeat a real shot.
