Annual General Meeting 2019/20

The Annual General Meeting of the Moonee Valley Cricket Club Inc is being held at 7pm on Monday, August 10.

Due to the restrictions on meetings required under the Stage 3 coronavirus restrictions, the AGM will be held remotely and electronically via the Facebook Messenger platform.

Clause 36 of our Constitution allows members to participate in a general meeting by the use of technology, and to vote and undertake other actions electronically.

To facilitate the smooth running of the meeting, we require members planning to participate to pre-register with Club Secretary Michael Ozbun at ozbun.michael@gmail.com at least one day before. People can use a computer, laptop or mobile phone to participate. Any members who are unsure about how to connect to the meeting via their device should email or phone Michael on 0448 548 860.

We are also calling for nominations for the committee. Note that our constitution requires that nominations for election to the committee must be received by the Secretary at least seven days before the date of the meeting.

Renominations have been received by President Charlie Walker, Vice President Mark Gauci, Treasurer Peter Golding, Secretary Michael Ozbun, Junior Co-ordinator Peter Pickering and general committee members Liam Shaw, Daniel Phillips, Channa DeSilva, Brendan Rhodes and Allan Cumming.

There are several positions available on the committee.

Attached is a Proxy for members who will not be present but want someone to vote on their behalf. An agenda will be distributed once nominations are finalised.

Members please note that proposals to amend the Constitution or Bylaws must be received in writing at least seven days before the date of the meeting.
