Nigel ties the knot
Moonee Valley cricketer Nigel Walker took full advantage of the festive season when he was married between Christmas and the New Year.
Nigel married Caroline Abraham at the Fitzroy Gardens, with Moonee Valley teammates as part of the bridal party.
Past player Will Ryall (3 games with the Valleys) was best man, while current player Murray Walker (113 games, 1151 runs and 156 wickets) was one of the groomsmen.
Other past and present Valley players in attendance were Charlie and Adele Walker, Andrew Walker, Michael Cumbo, Tom King and Tom Ayers.
Nigel hasn't been the most regular player at Moonee Valley in the past couple of seasons - one game in 2014/15, none in 2015/16 and none so far this season - but has still amassed 84 games, 423 runs and 80 wickets.
