Our Moonee Valley junior cricket program

2019/20

Welcome to the Moonee Valley Cricket Club Juniors. Our club welcomes all junior cricketers, male and female, and all levels of ability.

In 2019/20, we are fielding teams in NWMCA Friday night competitions in the U10, U12, U14 and U16.

Our U14 and U16 players can also play in senior teams, gaining experience alongside senior players.

The junior program is run by parents and senior players at all levels and family participation is always welcome.

COACHES:

U10 – Channa DeSilva

U12  – Joshua Gorry and Jack Newman

U14 –  Steve Esmore and Anthony Cafari

U16 – Channa DeSilva, Nick Brelis and Peter Pickering

TRAINING

All training is held at Ormond Park.

U10 , U12, U14 – all teams train Thursday nights from 4.30-5.30pm

U16 (two teams) – training 5pm Tuesdays

SUBSCRIPTIONS:

The subscription of $275 per player covers all costs of play, including insurance, ground fees and association fees, club equipment and umpires. Each junior player also receives a club shirt included in the subscription price.

Discounts are provided for families and concession card holders.
