Moonee Valley Cricket - registration information 2025/26

Hi Everyone,

I have sent this email to captains, team managers and past and potential players for our club

For captains you can send this on to any potential players you are speaking with.

Here the membership links and guidelines for joining players. 

Our club requires players to use the payment options available through PlayHQ.

All of options for upfront payment or for PayPal pay in 4 option are linked below

 

Men's Full - $349

Men's Concession - $299

Women Senior - $109

Yearly compulsory CA player fee and insurance - $36.50. Note doing an AI or internet search will give you last season's result of 22.50 so do not use it.

The amount is under the CA section of the PlayHQ registration page

PlayHQ service fee 1.488% of cost for payment

VTCA - Saturday October 4th

MCA - Sunday October 5th

Men's One Day NWMCA - Saturday October 12^th

No matter which scenario is used the registration fee prices are identical.

Players playing at another club on Saturday and wanting to play at our club on Sundays will use the link below after the player has obtained a season playing permit from that club prior to registration.  Our club committee can organise the permit. Captains need to ask the committee for each requested player if they want our committee to drive this. Permit can take up to 7 days for approval.

Once approved, the player will be added to the NWMCA participant list as paid.

However, each player will need to pay their fees before being selected to play with Moonee Valley

No matter which scenario is used the registration fee prices are identical. 

Players want to be eligible to play either day for Saturday VTCA and or Sunday MCA turf should join the with the VTCA link. That player will be auto permitted by Moonee Valley CC to also be available to play Sundays. Use the following link to register

VTCA players must register with the above link and process to avoid missing matches because of an invalid registration procedure from the VTCA. 

VTCA 1^st Xl players will need to register by the 31st of August to comply with VTCA points allocation rules 

Casual players for Saturday one day hard wicket camp use the following link

Junior players will join to NWMCA juniors unless aged 16 or over 

Sunday only single club players can register use the  

Players playing at another club on Saturday and wanting to play at our club on Sundays will use the link below after our the player has obtained a season playing permit from that club prior to registration. Also players playing at other clubs may be subject to further playing restrictions depending upon the grade their Saturday team is playing, Before organising a season permit contact Alec Kahn the match secretary at the MCA to clarify if the player can play for the target team.

Once approved the player will be added to the MCA participant list as paid.

However, each player will need to pay their fees before being selected to play with Moonee Valley

Concession automatically apples to players aged less than 18 or greater than 60 as at the 31^st of August 2025. 

 

If you are between 18 to 59 year of age at 31 August 2025 and want to apply for concession discount please contact the Treasurer Allan Cumming or President Charlie Walker to provide proof of concession  status prior to registration. Upon approval we will send an email with the details of how to apply the concession for your registration 

If the player will make Moonee Valley their home club, that player will need to a transfer approval before being able to register. Allow 10 days to be safe. The shorter the lead time the less chance a player's registration or permit being approved and that player available for selection. VTCA eligible players need to register with the VTCA link .  

 

Several Moonee Valley committee members receive registration , purchase , transfer and permit notification emails from PlayHQ for events. We can check/confirm the email notifications or admin portal for status of these events on request.
