Moonee Valley Cricket Club Annual General Meeting 2017/18

The Annual General Meeting of the Moonee Valley Cricket Club Inc will be held at 7pm on Monday, August 20 at the Moonee Ponds Club, 622 Mt Alexander Rd, Moonee Ponds.

Our constitution requires that nominations for election to the committee must be received by the Secretary at least seven days before the date of the meeting. Charlie Walker fills the appointment of Secretary at this stage, and can be contacted at charlie.walker@optusnet.com.au

Simon Thornton, who has filled the role of Vice President since the 2010/11 season, has advised he is stepping down due to family commitments.

All other members of the Committee - President Charlie Walker, Treasurer Peter Golding and general committee members Michael Ozbun, Matt Thomas, Kevin Gardiner, Peter Pickering (junior co-ordinator), Channa DeSilva, Nigel Cowan Snr, Allan Cumming and Brendan Rhodes, have advised they will stand for re-election. We have received a nomination for the vacant Vice President position, and another for the position of Secretary - which Charlie Walker filled in a dual role last year.

A preliminary agenda and a proxy form for members who will not be present but want someone to vote on their behalf will be distributed before the meeting via email and on our website. The minutes of the last AGM have previously been distributed to members, but will also be re-distributed.

Members please note that proposals to amend the Constitution or Bylaws must be received in writing at least seven days before the date of the meeting.
