Juniors - season start delayed

The NWMCA has assessed the position of readiness for the start of the Junior Mixed season and decided to delay the first round by ONE WEEK.

The delay has been caused by a number of factors;

• Councils' delayed allocation of grounds
• Late registration of players (perhaps due to school holidays)
• Multiple team ins and outs, after the pre-season session with clubs on Wednesday 1/10.
• Each time a team is added or withdrawn, divisions/grades need to be adjusted and fixtures (drafts) re-cast
• Club uncertainty as to whether they have a viable team in some instances, or whether a merged team should be organised.

Thursday Junior mixed competitions will start on 16^th October

Friday Junior mixed competitions will start on 17^th October

Saturday Junior mixed competitions will start on 18^th October
