Junior Registration Day: Sunday, August 28

Message for players, parents and families

The Moonee Valley Cricket Club is heading towards the 2011/12 season, and we're holding our Junior Registation Day and free sausage sizzle from 11am to 1pm at the Ormond Park pavilion on Sunday, August 28.

We have provisionally entered one Under 16 team, three Under 14 teams, two Under 12 teams, two Under 10 teams and a Milo In2Cricket program for the season.

Age groups are - Under 16 players (born after 31/8/95); Under 14 (born after 31/8/97), Under 12 (born after 31/8/99) and Under 10 (born after 31/8/2001).

Groups of school friends are able to play together in the same team - particularly at the U/10 and U/12 levels.

The North West Cricket Association specifies particular grades which encourage girls to play, at Moonee Valley will be seeking to facilitate this for our players.

We will have club apparel in most sizes available on the day.

Our fees for the season have been set at $175 per child (same as last year), plus a one-off $20 levy which has been set on all members of all sections by the Moonee Valley Sporting Club due to a financial shortfall.

We will be taking registration and apparel payments on the day. We will have eftpos facilities, and will also take cheques and cash.
The season starts on the weekend of October 14-16.
