Free barbecue

This Thursday is our first selection night for the second half of the season, and in line with coach Vic Hodge's advice to players earlier this week, we need to see maximum numbers at training.

Our four turf teams are in action this weekend - the Firsts and Seconds are playing one-day games on Saturday, and the Thirds and Fifths are playing one-dayers on Sunday.

To welcome our players back after the Christmas break and to get into the swing of things, your Club is putting on a free barbecue after training.

Maestro chef Peter Fenaughty will be cooking up the goods, while Tien Ha is looking after the salads and bread.

There are still several regular players away on holidays, so there should be extra spots available in the turf teams. Players from all grades need to be at training to get back into the swing of the second half of the season, and to be available for selection in the turf teams.
