***Cricket training reminder

Just a reminder that our third and final indoor cricket skills session is at Action Indoor Sports at 90 Gordon St, Footscray this Thursday, September 5. Players need to be there by 7.15pm for a 7.30 start.

We have two courts booked for an hour, and the cost is $10 per player - although if our numbers are again up it will only be $5. We've had an excellent turnout of 28-plus players for each of our two previous sessions.

And we're down at Ormond Park at 10am Saturday, September 7 for an hour or two of training in the nets.

As of next week, senior training is back at Ormond Park, Pattison St, Moonee Ponds for the standard Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sessions start at 5pm for the first few weeks, until daylight saving kicks in.

Coach Rex Bennett has a firm view that every player should also be a recruiter for our Club, and so we invite all of our members to bring a friend, relative or acquaintance along to our sessions to also join our club and bolster our numbers. So far, we've had a number of new recruits.
