Congratulations to Steve Radford

Congratulations to Moonee Valley Cricket Club sponsor and past player Stephen Radford, upon his recent election to the role of Moonee Valley Football Club President.

"Pigeon" played 35 games with what is now our Mighty Fighting Fourths, and although he hasn't pulled on the whites for a couple of seasons, is still on Skipper Brett Curran's radar for duties when required.

Steve and Kerrie's children, James and Amelia have also played cricket at Moonee Valley - in the juniors, and with some senior games as well for Amelia.

Current Mighty Fighting Fourths player Dean Lawson was elected MVFF Vice President.

Moonee Valley Cricket Club President Charlie Walker said he was looking forward to working closely with Steve, Dean and the rest of the football club on issues of common concern.

Charlie said a good relationship was developed with football  under outgoing President Alex Tomsic, and he was confident that the two Clubs would continue to work well together.

Steve sponsors Moonee Valley Cricket Club through his company Dorr Fine Foods, which provides supplies for our canteen and our afternoon teas.
