Condolences to the Carbone family

The Moonee Valley Cricket Club on behalf of our members and supporters extend our sincere condolences to member Sam Carbone and his family on the death of his father Giuseppe last Monday.

Sam has been a member and player of our Club for the past year, although he was well known and respected by Moonee Valley players as a tough opponent over previous seasons.

On a number of occasions during the past season Sam was unsure of his availability due to his father’s illness, but invariably took to the field and performed with credit.

Requiem mass for Giuseppe Carbone will be offered at St Therese’s Catholic Church in Lincoln Rd, Essendon at 11am on Monday, June 17.

At the conclusion of the Mass the funeral will proceed to the Keilor Mausoleum.
