Call for interest for our afternoon teas contract

Greetings Moonee Valley players, parents, family and supporters:

Our club urgently needs a person or couple of people to prepare the afternoon teas each weekend for the senior teams.

With our 12 senior men's and women's teams, we would average out at six home games per weekend - most times three on Saturday and three on Sunday. The payment is $40 cash for each of the two days preparing the sandwiches, and cutting up the cakes and fruit.

All the ingredients and equipment are supplied, and the teas are prepared down at the Ormond Park pavilion.
Each afternoon tea comprises one large plate of sandwiches, a large plate of cake/donuts/biscuits and a larger platter of sliced fruit.

The Roberts family did a terrific job with the afternoon teas for the past three years, but decided not to take on the job again this season.

It takes one person about 2 1/2 to 3 hours per day to do the work.

The job would suit a parent or parents, or perhaps even grandparents or older members of the community wanting some ready cash.

Please think about whether the job's for you, or if you have a relative or perhaps an older neighbor living locally who would be suited.
