Call for captain applications

Moonee Valley Cricket Club is now calling for applications for captains and the Chairman of Selectors for the 2011/12 season.

The jobs of captains for each of our elevens from the Seconds through to the Ninths, and for our Women's team, are now open.

Applicants should nominate which is their preferred team, but we will also consider "multiple" nominations - a player who may wish to also nominate for another grade should they be unsuccessful in their preferred application.

Criteria which will be taken into account include past performance as a captain, a capability to perform the administrative requirements of the job such as lodging results and collecting fees, an ability for the captain or nominee to attend and contribute to selection as part of the selection committee, and a willingness to contribute as a leader around our Club.
