Mickster took his hat-trick in the 5ths against Socials, when he dropped down a grade due to non-availability for the second day of a two-day game.

One of Moonee Valley's most-admired players, Mick has played more than 90 games, and made more than 1000 runs.

His contribution has been recognised by the Club, which has honored Mickster by naming the Under 12 Green bowling award the Michael Cumbo Trophy.

Is a sharp fielder, renowned for taking absolute blinders that are flying off the bat on the way to the boundary.

And Mick's just as popular back at the clubrooms on match report nights, when he's invariably called on to describe and act out in great detail the catches that won the matches.
