Alan has been part of the squad that made the transition from one-day cricket to two-day cricket in the North West Cricket Association.
Hits the ball hard and long.
Alan made his highest score of 155no on the November 2008 day when the Sixths set the Club's highest-ever total - 3/475 v Buckley Park.
His 2008/09 season was rewarded when the won the NWCA comp batting award in the Barron Shield - which is its fifth grade.
Alan moves like a Panther in the field - hence his nickname Cougar - and has wonderfully safe hands and a great agility.
