Finished his junior career at the end of 2004/05, and already had senior experience under his belt.
An enthusiastic player, Joel slotted in to the Fifth Eleven - our Under 18 development squad - in 2005/06 as he worked hard to gain cricket experience.
Joel had never played competitive cricket before Under 16s, so he's come a long way in a short time.
Joel's very enthusiastic in the field, and has been known to hold on to some hot chances. He's renowned for running the ball down, and for lightning returns to the keeper.
