Steven Bonfa

Up from the Under 16s - great slips catch, Steve slotted very nicely into the Fifths - our Under 18 development squad - in 2005/06.

Steven underlined his class by winning the Fifths batting award in his first full season, while still playing Under 16s. His first full season reaped 251 runs @ 20.9, with a highest score of 47, and 6 wickets for 179 runs.

Steve again won the Fifth Eleven batting award in 2006/07, underlined by two half-centuries. His first ton is only a matter of time. His bowling also came under notice in 06/07, and he was a regular wicket-taker.

He was also part of the Fourths finals campaign in 06/07, when it was determined that the team needed a middle-order batsman to strengthen the line-up.

Can and does surprise the opposition with his sharp bowling, moving off the pitch.
