Paul Comino
June 2009. (Stats to end of 08/09)
Returned to the club in 2003/04 after a number of seasons out of the game. Very determined, and places great value on his wicket.
Great endeavour in the field.
Has developed into a handy strike bowler in the one-day grades, underlying his class with a career-best 6/40 in 2005/06, when he was unplayable when pitching up on a full length. This performance bankrolled Paul's season, as his 16 wickets won him the Sevenths bowling award.
He is now leading the charge in developing senior exerience in our emerging juniors, as captain of the Ninth Eleven.
Paul has taken a further step in his association with the Club, taking on the role as Assistant Treasurer for the 2006/07 season, progressing to Treasurer in 2008/09.
Paul also won the prestigious Lindsay Jones Award as Moonee Valley's best clubman in 2007/08.
