Comino, Shane
Shane CominoJune 2009 (Stats to end of 2008/09)
Returned to Moonee Valley in 2003/04 after a number of seasons out of the game.
Played in the one-day sides as a key player, regularly opening the batting.
Also took up the wicketkeeping duties in 2005/06 when the regular keeper from the Sixths was poached by the Sevenths. Was a revelation behind the stumps, winning the Sixths fielding award on his excellent returns.
Shane has captained our one-day sides, and has now settled in as keeper.
