Wellard, Sam
2005/06:Sam has worked his way into the senior ranks through our junior development program. His 8/16 v Jacana in the 2nds in 2004/05 are the second-best figures in the club's history.
Sam had to take time away from Moonee Valley in 2005/06 when he was selected to represent Victoria in the Imparja Cup in the Northern Territory - a cricket competition for players from an indigenous background.
Victoria didn't do too well in the Imparja Cup, but it provided Sam with valuable experience in a different grade of cricket, and he'll be well served by the experience.
