Nigel Walker
2005/06:
A product of our junior development program, Nigel is establishing himself in senior cricket.

Very safe pair of hands, particularly in the outfield.

Took his first five-wicket haul in 2005/06, after coming close so many times during his junior career.

A deceptive bowler with his nagging line and a bit of loop, Nigel also proves hard to dismiss and places great value on his wicket. His bowling is such that he can open the attack with menace, or tie down the opposition coming in first or second change.

Also a past coach of Under 10s - one of a number of graduates from Moonee Valley's junior program who put something back into the Club by coaching the next crop of up-and-coming stars.
